St. Joseph Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to help patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with daily living activities and basic care tasks.

You will support with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, vitals, and room preparation, while closely coordinating with nursing staff. The role emphasizes compassion, attentiveness to changes in patient conditions, and willingness to learn.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Patient Care Assistant, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

As our Patient Care Assistant, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients' conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate, upon hire or

• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

Pay Range

$15.00 - $20.63 /hour
