Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support care for medically ill patients under supervision. You will perform direct patient care, observe changes, report them, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

No experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and 18+ years old. Orientation will occur during your first full week. TMH is an equal opportunity employer with a drug-free workplace and required screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No previous experience required; one year of related experience preferred.
• Orientation includes Clinical Orientation in the first full week (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm).

Responsibilities

• Care for medically ill acute or sub-acute patients.
• Performs direct patient care under supervision.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status.
• Provides a clean and safe environment.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Assists with nutrition and hydration and toileting.
