Mayo Clinic is seeking qualified Nursing Assistants to join its Patient Care Assistant team. The role supports licensed nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care across multiple units, under RN supervision.

Must be 18+ and have nursing assistant training or college credits; BLS is required and orientation may provide it if not current. Opportunities include float pool assignments across different hospital departments.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/GED with successful Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Able to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
• Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; if not held, it will be included as part of orientation.

Responsabilidades

• The Patient Care Assistant assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care which supports and complements nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• The Patient Care Assistant carries out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
• We have openings in Float pool and several medical surgical units across the NWWI region.
