Nationwide Children\u2019s Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide basic supportive care under the direction of an RN or Care Manager. You will collect vital signs, document findings, and report to the RN, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality in pediatric and select adult patient care.

The candidate will have a fundamentals nursing program completion or equivalent certification/experience, ongoing education, and may train other staff as needed.

Qualificações

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program
• Equivalent certification or experience accepted in lieu of formal nursing program

Responsabilidades

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs
• May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned
• Promotes general patient safety
• Holds and positions patients and assists with procedures
• Prepares materials and supplies as delegated
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Ensures environment is stocked, clean, and maintained
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary
• Completes continuing education and participates in offered opportunities
• May act as a preceptor and train other staff
