Roxborough Memorial Hospital is looking for a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of the registered nurse.

Per Diem staffing offers flexible shifts and an opportunity to contribute to a community hospital serving Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and surrounding neighborhoods, with an emphasis on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Facility Specific Requirements (as Applicable Required)

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
