You will assist with basic care under supervision, monitor patients, report changes to RNs, and help maintain clean, safe patient rooms in a busy medical-surgical setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nursing students may substitute clinical rotation for experience.
• BLS certification within new hire period.
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge.
• Demonstrates math and reading comprehension at junior high level.

Responsabilidades

• Provide or assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN promptly.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Assist with patient transfers/transport as needed.
• Utilize monitoring devices and record vital signs appropriately.

Conocimientos

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Patient care under RN supervision

Reporting changes in patient condition

Bedside assistance & ADLs

Patient transfers/transport

Math & reading comprehension

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Nursing student clinical rotation

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred
