Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) to support RNs in delivering compassionate basic patient care. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patients, report changes, and maintain clean, safe rooms on day shifts 6:30 a.m.

– 7:00 p.m., with every other weekend and three holidays per year. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and basic math and reading skills; nursing students or HM/68W experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or Nursing students with clinical rotation substituted for experience.
• BLS certification required within new hire period.
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge domains must be demonstrated.
• Basic math and reading comprehension at minimum junior high level.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to an RN.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
