Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• Active Ohio CNA certification and CPR/BLS.
• At least one year of hospital patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs; may complete screening questions and minor testing as assigned.
• Promotes general patient safety; assists with procedures and prepares materials.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Keeps unit and patient areas stocked, cleaned and maintained.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary.
• Completes continuing education and may act as a preceptor for others.
