Responsibilities

• Engages in population appropriate communication.
• Provides patient care under supervision while maintaining safety.
• Measures vital signs and records observations.
• Assists with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Assists with meals, feeding, and monitoring calorie intake.
• Operates patient care equipment and ensures proper safety.
• Performs post-mortem care when required.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and stocks supplies.
• Communicates patient observations to RN in a timely manner.
