Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking personnel to deliver non-clinical care to adult and pediatric patients while supporting licensed nurses with delegated clinical tasks. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• If working in the Total Joint Center: eight hours of hospital-provided continuing education upon hire and annually, focusing on management/care of total hip, knee and shoulder replacement as well as elective spine surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Follows expected workflows and processes for delivery of non-clinical and clinical care.
• Demonstrates positive communication with patients, families, physicians and healthcare team members.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, families and co-workers, including handwashing and infection control policies.
• Demonstrates professionalism, including current AEDs and other competencies, and adherence to dress code policies.
