Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

The role requires CNA certification, phlebotomy and ECG certifications preferred, BLS, and a solid knowledge of medical terminology; full-time night shift with rotating weekends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Schedule: Full Time Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am, rotating weekends
• Facility: Resurrection Medical Center
• Location: Chicago, IL 60201
