Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our night-shift team. Working under a registered nurse, you will help deliver patient-centered care, assist with activities of daily living, and support safety and comfort for patients.

This full-time role offers hands-on clinical exposure, opportunities for growth, and participation in a mission-driven environment. You will respond to call lights, assist with hygiene, transports, and maintain clean, orderly patient rooms

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or 6 months direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or 1 nursing clinical rotation, or PCA program enrollment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with diverse individuals and groups.
• Commitment to the organization’s philosophy, values, mission and vision.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months of experience direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing divers perspectives.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.
