Job summary

IHA in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. You will support RN with daily living activities, hygiene, and patient comfort during a 12-hour night shift.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, CNA certification or equivalent experience, and good communication skills. You will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of direct Patient Care Assistant experience, Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights or rounds to assist.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene including showers and oral care.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered patient environment.
