Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, IL. The role provides bedside nursing support on a Medical-Surgical unit with a PRN night schedule and requires caring, patient-focused individuals who fit our mission-driven culture.

Preferred qualifications include a CNA or PCT certification and BLS within 30 days of hire. Education wise, a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior acute-care experience is

Pay Range

$17.50 - $24.50

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team, serving as a support resource to our dedicated nursing staff committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers, looking for an opportunity to deliver bedside care and support to patients in a hospital-based environment.

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
