Job summary

HKB Cosmetic Surgery in Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant to support both clinical and front-desk operations in a busy plastic surgery center. You will greet patients, help clinicians during visits, and manage essential front-desk tasks with a focus on accuracy and discretion.

This role requires CMA, RMA, or CNA certification and Nextech EMR experience is preferred. You will help with billing forms, scheduling, and data entry, ensuring a smooth, confidential patient

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of clinical experience in a plastic surgery or dermatology office.
• CMA, RMA, or CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients by greeting them in person or on the phone and directing inquiries.
• Prepares patients for visits, escorts to exam rooms, and assists with gowning and positioning.
• Verifies patient information by taking history and vital signs and confirming visit purpose.
• Assists health care providers during examinations, prepares specimens, and handles basic lab tasks.
• Educates patients with medication and diet information and answers questions.
• Completes records of examination, treatment, and test results for billing.
• Handles front-desk duties when needed: check-in/out, scheduling, and payments.
• Maintains confidential patient information and adheres to safety standards.
