Job summary

ECMCC seeks a Non-Licensed Clinical Staff member to assist with patient care and related clerical duties at the Buffalo facility. The role involves vital signs, basic treatments, patient transport, and hygiene assistance in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Work is on-site, full-time, with NYS-polity compliance and a focus on daily operations. Candidates must obtain BLS certification within 60 days of appointment and maintain it during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care: taking vital signs, height/weight, monitoring input/output, performing simple procedures.
• Transports patients and prepares for examinations, including chaperoning as needed.
• Provides personal hygiene care and feeding assistance, including preparing trays and helping with feeding.
• Cares for patient clothing and property, cleans bedside areas and rooms as required.
• Applies supportive devices (anti-embolic stockings, wraps, pumps) and ensures patient safety throughout procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and assists in infection control and aseptic techniques.
