Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under RN supervision in a general unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help maintain patient safety and comfort.

The role requires a nursing assistant program graduate, a current BLS certification (within 30 days), and excellent teamwork. Prior medical/surgical experience is preferred, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program.
• Nurse aide certification or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Takes and records vital signs and oxygen saturation.
• Performs specimen collections and routine procedures as directed.
• Maintains clean and organized patient care areas and supplies.
• Responds to call lights and supports patient safety and comfort.
• Moves and assists patients, including ROM exercises and transport.
