Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service.
• Experience or successful completion of a Hospital Aide training program or equivalent military training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, report changes to RN/LPN and support care plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Perform basic nursing skills and operate simple equipment.
• Record nursing activities in the medical record per standards.
• Follow department forms and infection control principles.
• Report incidents and unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Support safety, patient environment, and Code 500 procedures as directed.
