Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an RN or CNA-eligible individual to provide routine patient care at the Avera on Louise Health Campus. This PRN role involves rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on compassionate, quality patient care.

You will assist with ambulation, bathing, feeding, and routine tasks under nurse or physician direction, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining accurate documentation and communication within the care team.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care under nurse/physician direction.
• Assist with ambulating, bathing, feeding, and daily activities.
• Record diet information and input into the computer system.
• Answer call lights promptly and help with patient needs.
• Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and assist with messages and errands.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and handle supplies.
