Thrivelab was founded by Joshua Host after a serious biking accident showed the healing power of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Long after he had physically healed, Joshua battled significant cognition issues. Even basic math was a struggle. Numerous brain specialists and prescription drug regimens didn’t help. Then Joshua read an article published by Harvard Medical School about the treatment of traumatic brain injuries with BHRT. After just 30 days, he felt like his old self.

Description/Purpose of position

• This position is responsible for performing various functions, including managing the flow of patient care by accurately scheduling patient appointments in the scheduling system. Can prioritize and perform work in an organized, efficient, and effective manner without constant supervision and direction. Able to adjust appropriately to the volume of work and complete tasks promptly without interfering with the quality of work.
  

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and reschedule as needed through EMR system
  
• Take or respond to telephone calls and emails promptly to establish or confirm appointments
  
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and answer patient inquiries
  
• Provide support to other team members as needed
  
• Maintain HIPAA compliance
  
• Demonstrate proficiency within assigned areas of responsibility
  
• Updating demographics as needed
  

Duties may include

• Guiding patients through the scheduling process
  
• Collaborating with Nurse Practitioners if a patient needs to schedule outside their normal availability
  
• Accurately and thoroughly schedule within the booking radius
  
• Confirm scheduled appointments by sending confirmation to patient and nurse practitioner
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Medical Degree
  
• Experience: 2 years in medical field required

• English proficiency level C1, excellent communication skills
