Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound and makes outbound customer service calls.
• Resolves billing and payment issues for guarantors and third parties.
• Places outbound calls for self-pay balance collections, per laws.
• Escalates issues to team lead or manager.
• Supports ongoing quality of service improvements.
• Interacts cordially with all customers.
• Coordinates with other patient accounting departments.
• Documents all communications with guarantors and third parties.
• De-escalates irate callers to resolve complaints.
• Upholds a 'customer is always right' philosophy.
• Handles patient and insurance correspondence.
