Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years Professional Fee billing experience required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts receivable with goal to reduce AR.
• Collaborate with insurance/payer contracting to maximize cash collections.
• Review billing/charges for accuracy using pre-certification/authorization knowledge.
• Address patient questions with professional, timely responses.
• Follow guidelines for delinquent accounts receivable and apply compassionate care where appropriate.
• Assist supervisor with training new staff.
• Conduct appeals processing when appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reimbursement guidelines and policies.
