Job summary

Express is seeking a Patient Account Rep in Honolulu to start ASAP. The role includes explaining insurance coverage and billing procedures to residents and families, processing payments, managing petty cash, and assisting with Medicaid applications.

Office hours are Monday–Friday, with weekly pay and benefits. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior medical administrative experience, and complete TB clearance and health requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical administrative experience.
• 2-step TB clearance, titers, and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents and families on admission/discharge to explain insurance, billing, and financial arrangements.
• Process payments, manage petty cash, monitor trust accounts, and assist with collection efforts.
• Assist residents and families with Medicaid applications and coordinate insurance verifications with the Central Office.
