Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, HMOs, PPOs, and private insurance companies.
• 5-7 years of experience in medical/dental billing and coding, including 2 years of program management.
• Billing and coding knowledge in primary care required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the billing staff and manage billing procedures effectively.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of claims to payors.
• Act as the HIPAA Security Officer and Compliance Officer.
