BAART Program is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative / Patient Account Representative to perform billing and account maintenance tasks in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, posting payments, resolving billing issues, reconciling daily receipts, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance claims.
• Proficient PC skills and ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and process fiscal/account records and transactions related to patient accounts.
• Verify insurance benefits and billing information by terminal or telephone.
• Contact third party payers for payment post billing.
• Resolve issues with payment and billing and reconcile daily money collected.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
