Job summary

Hamilton Health Center Inc. seeks a Patient Benefit Services Coordinator to assist uninsured and underinsured patients with Medicaid, CHIP, and Federal Marketplace enrollment. The role educates patients, guides applications, and connects them to financial assistance and services, within the clinic and the community.

The coordinator conducts outreach, prepares monthly reports, and supports marketing efforts while ensuring HIPAA compliance and culturally appropriate care for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with children and families in public health, outreach, social work, or a related field.
• Experience with eligibility and enrollment processes preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides fair, impartial, and accurate information regarding healthcare coverage options.
• Assesses eligibility and assists with applications, renewals, and enrollment in Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare Part D, PACE/PACE NET, and Low-Income Subsidy programs.
• Assists with COMPASS applications for Medicaid and CHIP.
• Educates patients on insurance options including PA low-cost programs.
• Maintains knowledge of Medicaid, CHIP, and QHP program requirements.
• Represents Hamilton Health Center at community events and outreach activities.
