Patient Authorization & Referral Representative (PARR)

Location: Tukwila, WA

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Patient Authorization & Referral Representative (PARR) for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Tukwila, WA area. This position plays a key role in supporting patient access and insurance verification processes while ensuring accurate and timely coordination of referrals and authorizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant (required) who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating complex insurance and authorization requirements.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP
• Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
• Weekend: Rotating half-day weekend shifts after training

Requirements

• Active state Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant license required
• Previous experience with insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, or related healthcare administrative functions required
• Strong understanding of medical insurance plans and benefits
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated stability and longevity in previous healthcare-related roles preferred

Responsibilities
