Responsibilities

• Advocate for new patients to Methodist Physicians Clinic.
• Create patient estimates.
• Review estimated cost of care and payment policies with patients.
• Assist with FMLA, Disability or other forms in a timely manner.
• Verify benefits and obtain authorizations using electronic sources.
• Document medical necessity checking outcome.
• Assist, counsel, and suggest problem solving to ensure timely payment.
• Manage patient accounts and daily deposits.
