You will educate staff on proper documentation and act as the primary resource for QI coding and IRF-PAI completion.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified clinician per healthcare licensure rules.
• QI credential or in-house equivalent is required.
• UDS IRF PPS Certification must be obtained after 2 years in the PASC role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate data extraction from clinical documentation.
• Coordinate timely submission of data for Medicare patients.
• Educate and support staff on proper documentation.
• Serve as primary resource for QI coding and IRF-PAI completion.
• Improve processes for QI coding and data collection for IRF-PAI.
• Verify IRF-PAI data is entered and transmitted to CMS/UDS within deadlines.
• Prepare patient data for IRF-PAI completion and CMS export.
