Job Summary

The focus of this role is to support managers and staff, ensuring retail operations meet company standards. The Team Lead oversees daily dispensary activities, handles patient/customer needs, and collaborates with the Store Manager on hiring and developing a motivated team passionate about cannabis and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all functions of a licensed retail medical marijuana dispensary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and coach team members.
  • Respect team members and report findings to management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through routine inspections.
  • Manage and supervise patient advocate staff activities.
  • Update procedures to ensure best practices for staff and patients.
  • Train staff on SOPs, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Handle daily financial reports and cash procedures.
  • Schedule patient advocate staff.
  • Report patient incidents or high-risk complaints to relevant teams.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Oversee patient education programs and continuously improve informational content.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
  • Strive for high patient satisfaction and a welcoming environment.
  • Ensure product traceability from receipt to sale.
  • Manage inventory entries and shipments.
  • Communicate effectively using oral and written skills; proficient in MS Office.
  • Maintain attention to detail and time management.
  • Be proactive, energetic, and customer-focused.
  • Work efficiently with staff, customers, and government agencies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Pass a Level 2 FBI Background Check.
Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

1-3 years preferred.

Skills & Abilities

Customer obsession, relationship building, results orientation, technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Flexible scheduling, ability to assist patients with disabilities, operate POS and office equipment, and move products up to 30 lbs.
