The Senior Patient Advocate is the primary contact managing concerns and grievances from patients, their families, and other healthcare consumers. The Senior Patient Advocate intervenes in crisis situations and negotiates resolutions between conflicted parties while operating within an ethical framework, prioritizing the interests of the patient and fostering positive relationships between staff and patients. These efforts aim to create a more positive, individualized healthcare experience, recognizing each person's diversity and uniqueness. The Senior Patient Advocate proactively communicates and demonstrates responsiveness, providing a dedicated channel for patients to seek solutions to problems, concerns, and unmet needs.
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Five years working as a Patient Advocate or in a similar healthcare role
Preferred Certifications: Certification in Patient Advocacy or related field; Certified Public Notary preferred
