Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an insurance liaison to act as a bridge between patients, physicians, and insurance providers. You will clearly communicate benefits, answer non-clinical questions, and route calls while coordinating appointment scheduling and chart preparation.

The role requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and flexibility to float to other AdventHealth practices as needed in a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduation required.
• Experience with computers or basic office software.
• Knowledge of healthcare field preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other FPMG practices as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the insurance company, patient, and physician.
• Explain insurance benefits and requirements to patients.
• Respond to non-clinical questions and route calls; schedule appointments and surgeries.
• Prepare patient charts prior to visits.
• Update patient status in the electronic tracking system.

Job Description:

• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]
