Job summary

Canyon Ridge Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Patient Advocate to serve as a liaison among patients, families, and hospital staff, protecting patient rights and addressing concerns promptly.

You will advocate for patients, resolve grievances, and maintain accurate records while ensuring regulatory compliance and service quality throughout hospitalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
• Prior experience in patient advocacy, healthcare customer service, risk management, social services, or a related healthcare role preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and patient rights regulations preferred.
• Strong investigation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records.
