Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS required within 30 days of employment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and be team oriented.
• Medical terminology or demonstrated proficiency.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Physical abilities including heavy lifting as needed; see activities form.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients in a pleasant, professional and timely manner.
• Conducts patient/guarantor interviews and explains policies and responsibilities.
• Obtains necessary demographic and financial data in the ADT system.
• Identifies payor sources for revenue routing during the stay.
• Interacts with adolescent, adult and geriatric patient groups.
