Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking an Admissions Representative to join the Admitting Department on a full-time basis (32 hours per week) with rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Admissions Representative will handle patient registration, check-in/check-out, collect co-pays and balances, answer calls, and manage filing and scanning under the supervision of the Registration Manager.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Reporter training certificate is a plus; certification is required as an employee.

Responsibilities

• Register patients at the admissions desk including patient registration, check-in and check-out.
• Collect co-payments and other patient balances, and manage patient owed accounts.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, filing and scanning as part of the admissions process.
