Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families promptly at arrival.
• Answers telephone, provides information or takes messages.
• Interprets and explains forms to be signed at admission.
• Reviews patient forms for completeness and signatures.
• Collects deposits and/or co-pays per guidelines.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, physician, staff information.
• Directs complaints to appropriate person for resolution.
• Supports departmental processes and continuous quality improvement.
