Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing and computer skills preferred.
• Experience in customer service relations and office work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, verifies, and documents demographic and financial data for patients.
• Provides shift information and maintains patient information records.
• Obtains consents, assignment of benefits, and releases as needed.
• Collects patient religious preferences and affiliations.
• Ensures safe transport of patients as applicable.
• Initiates pre-certification and pre-authorization for services.
