You will coordinate admissions with families, insurance verification, and liaison with hospital case managers while promoting community outreach and patient access. The role emphasizes teamwork, public relations, and independent work to achieve census goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in admission process required.
• Ability to deal effectively with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, other referral contacts, families, residents, and staff.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills and public relations skills.
• Demonstrated ability to speak and present publicly.

Responsibilities

• Give facility tours to interested families and help them through admission.
• Handle admission paperwork completion and ensure accuracy.
• Verify insurance details for admissions.
• Coordinate with hospital case managers on patient referrals and admissions.
• Assist with assessments to align admissions with facility goals using nursing skills.
• Conduct market research and share marketing recommendations with the Admission Committee.
• Coordinate marketing efforts between the Committee and facility staff.
• Assess and improve resident/family satisfaction with the admission process and facility.
• Represent the facility at community and civic events as liaison.
