The role maintains resident census, develops a marketing program, and acts as a liaison between the facility and the community, coordinating admission processes and assisting families with administrative questions.

You will tour families, verify insurance, coordinate with hospital case managers, and contribute to market research for admissions strategy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in admission process required.
• Ability to deal with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and families.
• Demonstrate good customer service and public relations skills.
• Demonstrated ability to speak and present publicly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Take interested families on tours of the facility.
• Complete admission paperwork.
• Verify insurance.
• Coordinate with hospital case managers.
• Utilize nursing skills to assist in assessments that align admissions with facility goals.
• Conduct market research and provide marketing suggestions to the admissions committee.
• Evaluate resident/family satisfaction with the admission process and facility.
