Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare related field is required or two years of equivalent healthcare experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Two years of job-related experience in a healthcare setting (including ED, critical care, call center, front office) is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions through patient placement from all areas, including ED, direct admits, surgical spaces and transfers.
• Assist in collecting documents or information and communicate information relevant to admissions.
• Collaborate with the Senior Admissions RN and multiple departments, physicians, nursing staff and other stakeholders on a regular basis.
