SolutionHealth is seeking an Admissions Registrar to accurately gather and document patient demographics and financial data, ensuring compliance with federal mandates and the hospital's standards. You will collect consents and assignments of benefits, process pre-certifications, provide shift reports, and cooperate with physicians and staff as a vital member of the admissions team.

A high school diploma and basic typing/computer skills are required; customer service experience is preferred, and

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service relations and office environment preferred.
• Typing and computer skills; medical terminology preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides patients with information required by federal mandates and communicates essential messages from Medicare.
• Receives and provides shift reports at the start and end of shifts.
• Obtains consents, assignment of benefits, and releases as needed.
• Obtains information related to religious preference and affiliation.
• Initiates inquiries and ensures receipt of pre-certification and pre-authorization for services.
