Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Admissions Assistant (Non Nurse) to facilitate the admission process in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, preferred healthcare experience, and the ability to gather and enter admission paperwork, assist patients and families, conduct tours, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team with excellent customer service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and enter all necessary admission paperwork.
• Provide assistance for patient and family at time of admission.
• Assist with follow up visits and interviews with all new patients after admission.
• Assist or solely provide facility tours to potential and newly admitted patients, families, and any visitors.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
