Responsibilities

• Serves as subject matter expert in insurance collections and billing resolution; resolves complex accounts.
• Contacts insurance companies regarding complex claims, updates account information, and performs advanced administrative tasks on accounts.
• Completes follow-up tasks promptly while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Verifies patient benefits with the insurance carrier and re-files insurance claims as needed for timely payment.
• Collaborates with payors and communicates payor issues for remediation.
