UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Accounts Receivable specialist to manage all AR functions for the SRMC division. You will reconcile, research, correct and submit third‑party claims, pursue denials and resubmissions, and communicate with insurer payers to secure payment.

You will interview and approve patients for UNM Hospital charity and discount programs and provide patient customer service on billing issues. This role has no direct patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years directly related experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of third‑party payers, Medicare/Medicaid regulations is advantageous.

• Communicate with insurance companies and government payers to resolve claim issues and ensure payment.
