Summary:
Oversees all Cerner Revenue Cycle applications, providing proactive analysis, workflow recommendations, and technical design in a highly integrated environment. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of each application's architecture and the ability to define and implement integration efforts across venues. Responsibilities include managing daily application support and consulting with systems analysts, business office staff, and hospital administration to design efficient workflows that enhance revenue generation. The role also involves providing data analytics and designing reports in collaboration with Executive Management to support financial metrics and KPIs. An in-depth knowledge of the Cerner database build is essential for troubleshooting, recommendations, and maintenance of Cerner EMR solutions organization-wide. Candidates should have strong experience with Cerner Revenue Cycle Solutions, especially Patient Accounting and Charge Services, and a good understanding of finance and accounting. Experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripting is highly desirable. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, evaluating risks and defects, analyzing specifications and customizations, and advising on disaster recovery, data integrity, security, and alternative resolutions.
