Qualifications

• 3–5 years healthcare collections experience, or equivalent hospital setting experience.
• 2–3 years claims collections experience in healthcare; Medicaid/workers compensation experience preferred.
• Acute care setting experience in hospital/doctor's office; back office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and process patient accounts; follow up and resolve AR balances for government, commercial, and third‑party payers.
• Review payer EOBs to determine appropriate follow up and utilize Cobius to track denials.
• Check claim status via online portals; verify eligibility and update insurance information as needed.
