Role Description

The Patient Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This role is responsible for managing patient accounts from registration through payment resolution, including verifying insurance coverage, explaining benefits, and answering patient questions about balances and statements. Day-to-day duties include reviewing charges, processing payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and coordinating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely account updates. The specialist regularly communicates with patients, insurers, and internal teams to address account issues, set up payment arrangements, and support a positive financial experience. This position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to regulatory and payer guidelines, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Qualifications
