Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Patient Account Specialist for a contract position. The role is remote with equipment provided, requiring reside within Virginia.

You will handle inbound patient billing inquiries, assist with payments, explain balances, discuss payment plans and financial assistance, while delivering professional customer service and precise documentation. Responsibilities include managing MyChart education, Epic data entry, and payment arrangements.

Qualifications

Patient Account Specialist

Location: Remote w/ Equipment provided (must reside within Virginia)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM EST

This role will be responsible for inbound patient billing inquiries, assist with payments, explain account balances, discuss payment plans and financial assistance options, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on MyChart and self-service resources


• Assist patients with financial assistance inquiries

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
