Brown University Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to perform front desk functions, register clients, and assist with reimbursement processes. The role emphasizes compassionate, accountable, respectful, and excellent service to patients and colleagues.
The position requires a high school diploma, computer proficiency, and at least one year of related experience with third party payers or in a human services office environment.
The Patient Access Rep works as a member of a team assigned to perform front desk functions, client registration and the collection of information necessary to ensure reimbursement for services. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one-year experience in working with Third Party Payers and/or one-year support experience in a human service office environment. Must be comfortable working in a computer environment.
This position requires minimum physical exertion. There may be some light lifting involved in the day-to-day performance of the job.
