Intermountain Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle professional in West Valley City, UT, to manage patient account postings and payments with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires attention to detail, solid cash handling, and experience in the revenue cycle. You will collaborate across teams, ensure accurate EOB processing, and support the organization’s mission and values.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months revenue cycle experience or 1 year cash handling in revenue cycle preferred.
• 1 year revenue cycle experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify payment details and save backups as appropriate.
• Balance payments to deposits in systems and applications.
• Post payments to patient accounts using electronic and manual postings.
• Research, validate and adjust payment postings.
• Follow up per procedures to resolve accounts.
• Post correspondence, zero payments, denials and other items from insurance to patient accounts.
• Research missing information such as EOBs and remittances.
• Contact payers to obtain detailed payment information.
• Meet department productivity and quality goals.
• Collaborate with other teams across the organization.
• Participate in meetings and required training.
• Promote Intermountain Health values and abide by service behavior standards.

Job Description: Provides extraordinary care to our customers through friendly, courteous, and professional service through a broad understanding of account handling processes, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential Functions

• Identify appropriate payment details and save back-up as appropriate.
• Balance payments to deposits in systems and applications.
• Post all payments to patient accounts, using both electronic and manual posting systems
• Research, validate and make adjustments to payment postings.
• Follow up in accordance with procedures and policies with an overall goal of account resolution
• Post correspondence, zero payments, denials and any other additional items received from insurance to patient accounts
• Research and follow-up on missing information, such as EOB and insurance remittances.
• Contact payers as necessary to obtain detailed info regarding payments
• Meet department's productivity and quality goals
• Collaborate with other teams across the organization
• Participate in meetings and education requirements
• Promote mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abide by service behavior standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Minimum of six (6) months of revenue cycle experience OR one (1) year of previous revenue cycle cash handling experience, preferably including vocational training/education in medical billing or medical records, required
• At least one (1) year of revenue cycle experience, preferred

Physical Requirements

• Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing
• Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
• See and read computer monitors and documents
• Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment
• May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching

Location and Compensation

Location: Lake Park Building Work City: West Valley City Work State: Utah Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $18.85 - $25.61
